About VAP
Valley Animal Partners (VAP) was founded in 2005 and is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, whose members are local businesses and individuals interested in the welfare of local companion animals.
Our mission is to raise funds to help Snoqualmie Valley seniors, disabled, veterans and families with limited income, spay or neuter, vaccinate, microchip and provide emergency medication for their pets.
Valley Animal Partners held its first Free Vaccine Clinic on July 28, 2013. VAP continues to hold vaccine clinics twice a year, in the spring and fall.
As of May 23, 2016 VAP has provided services to over 720 dogs/cats. VAP has provided free vaccines and low cost ($5) microchips to 219 animals. In 2015, VAP provided funds to spay/neutered 107 animals. Since starting our emergency fund in 2015, VAP has covered the cost of medication as the result of an emergency for 6 animals.
To raise funds and bring awareness of our organization, we hold an annual DoggieStock in September and Chili Showdown and Auction in November.
Every dollar received thru fundraising, donations and grant requests are used to fund:
- Pay for spay and neutering costs of the cats and dogs in the Snoqualmie Valley whose owners have requested and been approved for assistance.
- Bring the Pasado’s Mobile Spay Station to the Snoqualmie Valley
- Free Vaccine Clinics for Snoqualmie Valley residents with limited income
- Provide low cost microchips. Snoqualmie Valley residents with limited income pay $5
- Provide funds to pay for medication as the result of an emergency whose owners are either elderly, disabled or veterans
